The real review

Scattered Hopes is a solid fleet management roguelite where the value is great and the Battlestar Galactica license is a big hit with fans. The core gameplay loop of surviving Cylon attacks and managing crises works, but the difficulty can feel punishing and arbitrary. The biggest frustration isn't with the game itself, but how it's been handled: Alt Shift and its PC/Steam release are getting roasted for a messy launch and technical problems that sour the experience.
