Terms of Use

Effective July 10, 2026. SkipTheCritics.com is owned and operated by Level Ten Media LLC. By using the site, you agree to these terms.

What this site is

SkipTheCritics.com publishes scores and written summaries that are the output of automated analysis of public online conversation about movies and video games. They reflect what a sample of social media users said during a window of time — not the opinion of Level Ten Media LLC, not a guarantee of quality, and not the view of “all” audiences. Sample sizes and confidence levels are shown beside every score for a reason.

No warranties

The site and its contents are provided “as is.” Scores and summaries are generated by automated systems and may contain errors, lag behind events, or change as new conversation is analyzed. We make no warranties of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any purpose. Decisions you make based on a score — like buying a ticket or a game — are yours.

Independence

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or paid by studios, publishers, or platforms. Nobody buys a score. Movie and game metadata (titles, artwork, release information) is supplied by third-party providers including TMDB and IGDB and belongs to its respective owners.

Using our content

You are welcome to quote our scores and summaries — in articles, videos, or posts — with attribution to SkipTheCritics.com and, where practical, a link. Wholesale copying of the site, its database, or its design, or republishing our content as your own, is not permitted. The site’s original content, design, and branding are the property of Level Ten Media LLC.

Acceptable use

Don’t interfere with the site’s operation, probe or attack its infrastructure, use automated tools to bulk-harvest its contents, or abuse the contact form. That’s the whole list — use the site like a person and we’ll never have a problem.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Level Ten Media LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us to use the site — which is zero.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Level Ten Media LLC is organized. We may update these terms; the current version will always live at this address with its effective date. Continued use after a change means acceptance.
