Starsand Island is a pretty chill life sim that gets the cozy vibe right, but a lot of people feel it's not worth the price for what you get. The island itself is gorgeous, and the core farming and fishing loop is solid, but the story is forgettable and the technical state is rough, with widespread complaints about bugs and performance, especially on Switch 2 and PC. The multiplayer is also a letdown for many, feeling half-baked. While Seed Lab has drawn some criticism, the game still works as a solo, DIY paradise builder if you can look past its issues.
