The real review

People are mostly torn on "The Day I Became a Bird" from Hyper Luminal Games. The story and visuals are almost universally praised as beautiful and heartfelt, but that's where the praise stops—nearly everyone talking about it on PC and Switch had serious technical issues, from crashes to terrible performance. The core puzzle and collection gameplay is considered just okay, and many feel it's not a great value for the price. It’s a lovely concept that seems to be let down by a broken launch.
