The core monster-taming shooter loop in Voidling Bound is a huge hit, with players loving the creature collecting and evolution gameplay that absolutely carries the experience. The problem is the PC launch itself, which is getting dragged for being buggy, poorly optimized, and a mess to stream — that's what nearly all the negative chatter is about. If you can look past the janky performance and the rocky launch, the actual game beneath it is fantastic fun.
