In 7th-century Arabia, Princess Hind becomes a warrior to defy the ruthless Emperor Kisra. Forged into a warrior and aided by legendary bandit Hanzala, Hind unites warring tribes for a last stand—the historic Battle of Dhi Qar—that will change history.

It's a rough watch, with most people calling it a messy, generic historical epic. The one thing that works is the visuals — they're genuinely impressive. But everything else falls apart: the story of Princess Hind uniting tribes against Emperor Kisra is called clichéd and dull, the pacing is a disaster, and the cast, led by Anthony Mackie as Hanzala, gets almost no praise. It looks great, but that's about it.
