Heartstopper Forever

It's a sweet, well-acted return that mostly works for fans, though some find the story a bit too familiar this time around. Kit Connor and Joe Locke, playing Nick Nelson and Charlie Spring, anchor the film with their deeply felt chemistry, and that relationship is the clear highlight. The supporting cast, like Elle Argent, is warmly received, but the pacing is a near-universal complaint, feeling rushed and choppy as it follows the gang thinking about life after school. It looks great and has heart, but director Wash Westmoreland catches some flak for a plot that doesn't quite feel new.
