People see it as a worn-out, low-rent action flick that's been done a hundred times before, with Stephen Lang's drifter, simply named Man, going through the motions. The few who found something to like point to the title itself, "Hellfire," as a decent name for a forgettable movie. Even genre fans who usually show up for guys like Lang or Dolph Lundgren weren't impressed, and Harvey Keitel's turn as the crime boss Jeremiah left them cold.
