Radha Mitchell gets credit for a committed performance as Kris Hendricks, the sniper trying to protect her daughter Anja from the warlord known as The Dragon, played by Tim Roth. But the story itself is widely panned as generic and unoriginal, with many finding the remote farm setting and hunted-protector plot too familiar to land. It feels like a film carried almost entirely by Mitchell's effort, while the rest, from the thin characters to the bleak visuals, leaves most viewers cold.
