People are loving this wild, blood-soaked resurrection of the Camp Miasma franchise. Director Jane Schoenbrun gets huge credit for steering it into delirious, original territory, with the visuals, humor, and performances from Gillian Anderson and Hannah Einbinder all landing brilliantly. The story of a young director, Kris, getting lost in the mystery of a reclusive star, Billy, is fresh and intoxicating. The only real gripe from a vocal few is with the pacing, which some found uneven. For most, it's a total, stylish win.
