American Ninja Warrior scores two more seasons from NBC
TVLine reports that NBC has renewed American Ninja Warrior for two more seasons.
Season 19 is slated for 2027 and will feature the return of the Mt. Midoriyama course. According to the outlet, production on Seasons 19 and 20 will begin before the end of this year, with filming taking place in Las Vegas.
The network announced that the 20th season will honor the fact that ninja competition is now an Olympic sport, set for the 2028 games. That season will include a special event with past Olympians and top ninja athletes from over 15 countries.
The renewal news follows the recent Season 18 finale. That episode crowned 20-year-old Josiah Pippel as champion, awarding him a $250,000 prize. It also saw Taylor Greene win the Women's Champion title for a second consecutive year, a first for the show.
