Andy Serkis Returns as Gollum in First 'The Hunt for Gollum' Teaser
Middle-earth is officially back in production. The first behind-the-scenes footage has dropped for 'The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum,' showing Andy Serkis suiting up once more as the iconic, ring-obsessed creature.
Per Variety, Warner Bros. has released the initial look at the film, which is now in production. The video shows Serkis on set, diving into the script and slipping back into character. Collider calls it the franchise's 'first official teaser.'
MovieWeb notes the footage revives one of the biggest characters from the original saga. The project marks the first new live-action 'Lord of the Rings' movie in over a decade, with Serkis also directing.
