Anna Pigeon gets a second season order from USA Network

The USA Network drama series 'Anna Pigeon' has been picked up for another season, according to reports from Variety and TVLine. The renewal comes just before the show's first season finale, which is scheduled to air on October 9.
Showrunner Morwyn Brebner said the team is excited viewers have embraced the character, per Variety. Brebner thanked the cast and crew and said they are eager to return to production for the new season.
The series stars Tracy Spiridakos as Anna Pigeon, a woman who becomes a park ranger after a personal tragedy and proceeds to solve crimes within national parks. The supporting cast includes Paulina Alexis, Ronnie Rowe, Tricia Helfer, and Kim Coates.
A network executive, Michael Sluchan of Versant, said the show has connected with audiences by introducing a new lead character and a different point of view to the channel. Versant is the company that now operates USA Network.
The show is based on the book series by Nevada Barr. Producers include Cineflix and SEVEN24 Films.
