Annabelle Wallis Talks 'Peaky Blinders' Regrets and Future James Wan Projects

Annabelle Wallis opened up to The Hollywood Reporter about her career, including some lingering thoughts on her breakout role.
She revealed that 'Peaky Blinders' creator Steven Knight has expressed regret over killing off her character, Grace Burgess, in the show's third season. According to Wallis, Knight told her, "I think I messed up with Grace," and suggested he might have written a different fate had he known how beloved the character would become.
The actor also discussed her history with director James Wan, who cast her in 'Annabelle' and later in 'Malignant'. She indicated a desire to work with Wan again, saying he was impressed by her performance in the Showtime series 'The Loudest Voice'.
In a lighter note, the interview touches on a past THR piece that accidentally led to an online rumor. That article somehow caused people to falsely believe the actual Annabelle doll from the Warren Museum had gone missing.
