Anya Taylor-Joy Admits She Hasn't Read The Lord of the Rings Books Yet

Anya Taylor-Joy is heading to Middle-earth, but she's got some required reading to do first. The actress, who was a die-hard 'Harry Potter' fan growing up, just landed a role in the upcoming 'Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum.'

Per Variety, she admitted she hasn't actually read J.R.R. Tolkien's classic books yet. But she's getting to it. "I'm about to read the books now, actually," Taylor-Joy said at a recent premiere.
