Apple TV+ subscription price jumps to $14.99 per month in latest hike
Apple is making its streaming service more expensive, again. According to Variety, the monthly cost for Apple TV+ in the U.S. is rising from $12.99 to $14.99, effective immediately for new subscribers.
TVLine reports the annual plan is also increasing, going from $99 to $119 per year. This marks the fourth time the service's price has gone up in four years, tripling from its original $4.99 launch fee.
The tech giant is also raising the price of the individual Apple One bundle, which includes services like Apple Music and iCloud, from $19.95 to $21.95 monthly. This move follows a recent price increase by another major streamer, Peacock, earlier in August.
Per the reports, the service now offers over 300 original titles, including series like 'Ted Lasso,' 'Severance,' and 'Silo,' and films such as 'CODA.' Upcoming releases for the rest of 2026 include the comedy 'Brothers' with Matthew McConaughey and the Ryan Reynolds spy film 'Mayday.'
