Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced sails to 2 million sales amid player fury
The remake of the pirate classic, Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, has scored a massive launch day haul. Per Eurogamer, the game sold two million copies in its first 24 hours, a stronger start than the recent new entry, Assassin's Creed Shadows.
But players are storming the Steam reviews with a 'No thanks!' over single-player microtransactions, according to reports. The game is also being slammed for DRM issues, with Kotaku noting it was reported as unplayable when Ubisoft Connect went down.
Ubisoft has fired back in the DLC furore. As reported by Rock Paper Shotgun, the publisher insists the standard edition is 'the full, complete experience' and players don't need to buy the extra purchasable content.
