Avengelyne comic relaunch paves way for Warner Bros. film

Rob Liefeld, creator of Deadpool, is writing a new 'Avengelyne' comic series for Image Comics, according to The Hollywood Reporter. This fresh take on the supernatural angel warrior will serve as a direct precursor to a potential feature film.

The property is already set up at Warner Bros. Pictures, with Olivia Wilde eyed to direct and Margot Robbie attached as a producer.
