Avengers: Doomsday Trailer Explodes, Smashes Records
Marvel's next big team-up is already making history before it even starts filming. The first trailer for "Avengers: Doomsday" pulled in a massive 503 million views in its first 24 hours online, per Variety. That officially makes it the second-biggest trailer launch ever, only behind the upcoming "Spider-Man: Brand New Day."
According to MovieWeb, the massive hype also set a new record for Disney, making it the studio's biggest trailer debut ever. It seems fans are more than ready to reassemble.
And they're putting their money where their clicks are. JoBlo reports the film also earned $16.5 million in first-day ticket sales, doubling the initial sales of the hotly anticipated "Deadpool & Wolverine." The Avengers aren't just back; they're breaking the bank.
