Battlefield 6 naval update brings back two-seater jets and a Top Gun crossover

Battlefield 6 is about to get salty. Per GameSpot, the next major update is launching on July 21, titled Season 4: Pacific Front, and it's all about naval warfare.

But the real news is a blast from the past. The update will reintroduce two-seater, fixed-wing jets, a feature not seen in the series since 2005's Battlefield 2.

And it looks like they're bringing a friend. GameSpot also reports the update appears to be setting up a Top Gun crossover, though no further details were provided.
