Be For Films picks up rights to 'Sisters' ahead of Toronto premiere

Brussels-based sales company Be For Films has nabbed the international rights to "Sisters" (Hermanas), a debut feature from Spanish director Ione Hernández Sáenz.

The film is set for its world premiere in the Discovery Section of the Toronto International Film Festival. It follows sisters Chelo and Marta, whose lives are disrupted by an unexpected event one summer.

Variety reports the acquisition was announced exclusively ahead of the festival.
