Best Buy Revives Midnight Launches for Zelda Ocarina of Time and Switch 2

Best Buy is bringing back a classic retail ritual for the launch of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, per reports from IGN and Polygon. Select stores will open at midnight on November 5 for the release of the game.
According to IGN, the midnight event will also include a surprise restock of the hard-to-find Zelda-themed Nintendo Switch 2 consoles and Pro controllers. This limited-edition hardware has been selling out instantly online since its announcement.
Polygon reports that fans who have already secured a pre-order can modify it for in-store pickup at the midnight opening. For those who haven't, a limited quantity of the consoles and accessories will be available for purchase on-site.
The retailer has not specified which stores will participate or how much stock will be available, warning that quantities are limited. IGN notes that store hours may vary by region, advising shoppers to check with their local outlet.
IGN also points out that other retailers, like Amazon and Walmart, have listed the game at a lower price of $59.88, compared to its standard $69.99. The special edition Switch 2 hardware is set to release on October 29 but is currently sold out everywhere.
