Bethesda's Fallout 5 confirmed, plus remasters and an Obsidian project
Bethesda just dropped a massive update on the future of Fallout, and the wasteland is getting crowded. According to a company statement reported by GameSpot, VGC, and others, Fallout 5 is officially in pre-production, alongside the long-awaited remasters of Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas.
Eurogamer notes the announcement also teased a new mystery Fallout game being developed in collaboration with Obsidian. That's a lot of irradiated projects on the slate.
Kotaku adds that a major expansion for Fallout 76 is also in the works. Rock Paper Shotgun reports that Fallout 5 and The Elder Scrolls 6 are being developed in parallel on an updated engine. It seems Bethesda is finally ready to talk about what's next.
