Bethesda union plans protest march as fans flood Xbox with pleas to stop layoffs
Bethesda Game Studios union members are preparing to march in protest of Microsoft's sweeping job cuts, Eurogamer reports. According to the union, the company wants workers to "accept this as a done deal and quietly disappear," a move they vow not to let happen.
The unrest comes as Xbox faces a separate wave of backlash from players. Kotaku notes that fans are now begging the company to 'stop the cycle of layoffs' on its official Player Voice feedback portal, where the plea has started trending.
With more major cuts reportedly still on the horizon, pressure is mounting from both inside and outside the Xbox division.
