Bioshock movie still in the script stage, director says

The long-gestating movie adaptation of the video game BioShock remains in the works, according to its director. Per GameSpot, Francis Lawrence told GamesRadar that the project is not dead.

Lawrence stated that the team is still actively working on a script for the film. He expressed his belief that the process is moving in a positive direction.

No further details about the script or a potential production timeline were provided. The project has been stuck in development for years, with little public movement.

The director's comments suggest the film is not currently shelved, but it remains far from a start date. Fans of the beloved game series will have to keep waiting for a concrete update.
