Blue Beetle Joins Superman's Sequel 'Man of Tomorrow'
The scarab is sticking around. Xolo Maridueña is confirmed to suit up again as the superhero Blue Beetle in James Gunn's upcoming sequel, 'Superman: Man of Tomorrow', according to Variety.
The news, also reported by /Film and JoBlo, means Maridueña will reprise his role as Jaime Reyes for the first time since the character's 2023 solo film. The sequel is currently in production under Gunn's direction.
How the young hero from Texas will fit into the Man of Steel's world remains to be seen, but his return signals Gunn is building out his new DC Universe roster.
