Bruce Campbell Shares Five-Year Prognosis After Cancer Diagnosis

Bruce Campbell Shares Five-Year Prognosis After Cancer Diagnosis

Bruce Campbell has been told he has roughly five years left to live, according to reports from TheWrap and Kotaku. The actor discussed the prognosis on The Adam Carolla Show this week.

He did not specify the type of cancer but confirmed the timeline, calling it a "five-year deal." When asked if that meant five years to live, Campbell reportedly responded, "Give or take."

Campbell first announced his diagnosis in March, stating it was treatable but not curable. He told Carolla the mental toll is significant, describing cancer as a "whack-a-mole life" where you deal with its effects rather than the disease itself.

Despite the news, the Evil Dead star is focusing on living. Per TheWrap, he said he's decided "to live with it, not die from it." He is currently on a tour to promote his new film, Ernie & Emma.

Kotaku notes Campbell stepped back from acting and convention appearances earlier this year following his diagnosis.
