Call of Duty movie to draw directly from Modern Warfare games
Director Peter Berg let slip some major intel on the upcoming Call of Duty film. While at Fanatics Fest in New York, Berg revealed the project will be set within the Modern Warfare universe, according to JoBlo.
Berg is co-writing the video game adaptation with Taylor Sheridan, known for his work on Yellowstone and Sicario. This confirms the film will pull directly from one of the franchise's most popular sub-series.
No release window or casting details were shared at the event. Fans will have to wait for more concrete orders from Activision and the filmmakers.
