Cameron Diaz's Netflix Action Comedy 'Bad Day' Drops First Look Images
Cameron Diaz is officially back on the action-comedy beat. Netflix announced that her new film, 'Bad Day', will begin streaming on December 11, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter.
The project, directed by Jake Szymanski, features Diaz as a single mom who experiences the most grueling day of her life while trying to keep a promise to her daughter.
The ensemble cast is stacked with talent. Alongside Diaz, the film stars Danielle Brooks, Ed O'Neill, John Higgins, Mark Duplass, and Ben Schwartz. Rob Corddry, Retta, and Sherry Cola are also in the mix.
Laura Solon wrote the script for the movie. The announcement from the streamer included a batch of first-look images from the production.
Diaz recently returned to leading roles after a decade-long break, starring in Netflix's 'Back in Action' earlier this year. The actress has previously indicated she takes her career decisions one project at a time, based on what works for her and her family.
