Cate Blanchett's Dirty Films to exec produce tragicomedy 'The Present Times'
Cate Blanchett's production company, Dirty Films, is diving into the world of paparazzi drama. Per Variety, the outfit will executive produce the upcoming feature 'The Present Times', described as a fable-like tragicomedy.
Screenwriter Eric Roth, known for 'Forrest Gump', and producer Brian Kavanaugh-Jones are also on board as executive producers. The film will be directed by Noah Stratton-Twine and star Daniel Weyman.
The project promises a sharp, satirical look at the invasive world of celebrity photographers, adding another high-profile name to Blanchett's producing slate.
