Charlie Cox Reacts to Daredevil: Born Again Ending After Season 3

Charlie Cox, the actor behind Matt Murdock, has reacted to the news that Daredevil: Born Again is ending after its upcoming third season. TVLine reports that at a panel, Cox joked, "All I'll say is that I imagine the 'Save Daredevil' campaign will be gearing up for round two." He added, "You don't want to invite the wrath of the 'Save Daredevil' people!"
Footage screened at the event, as reported by TVLine, showed Murdock in prison, turning his uniform into a makeshift mask and wrist-wraps to fight other inmates. The final season will find his character behind bars after publicly unmasking himself to take down Mayor Wilson Fisk, aka Kingpin.
The show is bringing back Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, Mike Colter as Luke Cage, and Finn Jones as Iron Fist for a Defenders reunion. It's unclear if their appearances will extend beyond this season.
Co-star Vincent D'Onofrio, who plays Kingpin, also commented on the cancellation on social media. "We so enjoyed bringing ['Daredevil: Born Again'] to you all," he wrote. Deborah Ann Woll, returning as Karen Page, told fans to "Enjoy the last season" and that the cast "worked really hard on it."
Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 is scheduled to start streaming in March 2027.
