Chris Pratt Teases Star-Lord's MCU Comeback Is in Motion

Chris Pratt has confirmed his Marvel character Star-Lord is coming back, and the gears are already turning at the studio. Per Variety, the actor said Marvel has taken "hard action" to ensure Peter Quill's return.

Pratt made the comments on The Playlist's "Bingeworthy" podcast, stating, "I have a great relationship with Kevin [Feige] and Lou [D’Esposito], and there have been both ongoing conversations about how we make good on that promise and also hard action taken." He added that while he can't reveal when, fans will definitely see the character back in action.

This follows earlier reports where Pratt said he pitched his own idea for the character's future to Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige. On the "Happy Sad Confused" podcast, Pratt said he had a "really strong vision" for what Star-Lord could do next and called his own idea "fucking great," according to Variety.

The promise of Star-Lord's return was first teased in the credits scene of "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3," which stated "The Legendary Star-Lord Will Return." Pratt has played the role in six MCU films to date.

TheWrap also covered the story, noting the character's comic book history includes a series titled "The Legendary Star-Lord." Where and when Quill will pop up next in the cinematic universe remains a mystery.
