Classic Black Ops games reportedly have more players than the latest Call of Duty

The old dogs are teaching the new ones a lesson. According to fan site Charlie Intel, more people are playing the basic PS5 ports of Call of Duty: Black Ops 1 and 2 than the brand-new Black Ops 7 across all platforms.

Push Square notes it hasn't verified that claim, but says it's not shocking. The retro ports are dominating the PlayStation Store charts and driving massive engagement, suggesting a serious nostalgia wave is crashing over the franchise.
