Coco 2 first look shows a teenage Miguel returning to the Land of the Dead

Miguel is back, but he's not a kid anymore. Disney revealed the first look at the long-awaited Pixar sequel at D23, showing the hero as a teenager with his faithful dog Dante, per Variety.

TheWrap reports that Benjamin Bratt will be back as the legendary singer Ernesto de la Cruz. The company confirmed the film is officially slated to arrive in theaters in November 2029.

That's right, 2029. Fans of the original will have to wait another five years to see Miguel's next adventure among the ancestors.
