Collider names six Apple TV+ series with no weak episodes
Collider has published a list of Apple TV+ series it claims have "never had a weak episode." The outlet argues the streamer's willingness to back unconventional ideas has resulted in a catalog of distinctive shows.
The list includes the historical drama "Pachinko," which follows four generations of a Korean family. Per Collider, the show's non-chronological structure is a strength, allowing viewers to see how one generation's sacrifices shape the next.
Also highlighted is the comedy "Shrinking," starring Jason Segel as a grieving therapist who starts bluntly interfering in his patients' lives. The outlet says the show is hilarious but rooted in trauma, finding compelling drama in awkward conversations and bad decisions.
The spy thriller "Slow Horses" makes the cut for throwing away the genre's glamour. The series follows disgraced MI5 agents, led by Jackson Lamb (Gary Oldman), who keep stumbling into national security crises. Collider calls each episode a "masterpiece" of unpredictable action and tense infighting.
