Colman Domingo Tapped to Write Live-Action Princess Tiana Movie
Disney is cooking up another live-action adaptation, this time for Princess Tiana. According to Variety, Emmy winner and Oscar nominee Colman Domingo is in talks to write the script.
He may be joined by "Slave Play" director Robert O'Hara, per the same report. The Hollywood Reporter notes no deals are closed yet.
Collider frames the news as Disney's next move after 'Moana's' disappointing box office. The project, reportedly an original idea inspired by the 2009 animated film, is said to be in very early stages.
