Control Resonant getting New Game Plus Plus and Photo Mode in upcoming updates
Remedy Entertainment has laid out its post-launch plans for the recently released RPG Control Resonant, per a blog post reported by Eurogamer.
The studio confirmed a feature called New Game Plus Plus is coming sometime in October. This is distinct from the current New Game Plus mode, which carries over most of protagonist Dylan Faden's paranatural powers. The new version will allow players to start successive New Game Plus runs without erasing their progress, with the studio cheekily suggesting players could do "665 runs if you want!"
A Photo Mode is also on the way, scheduled for a November update. Remedy stated the feature was cut from the launch version to prioritize overall game stability, but that the team has been developing it with input from virtual photographers.
Finally, the studio is working on additional cosmetic outfits for Dylan Faden, though no specific release window was given for the new fashion options. Remedy noted it is monitoring player feedback as it develops these post-launch updates.
