Corey Hawkins signs with Range Media Partners
Per an exclusive from Variety, actor Corey Hawkins has inked a new representation deal with Range Media Partners. The outlet reports he will continue to be represented by his existing teams at WME, JTWAMM, and Shelter PR.
Hawkins, a Juilliard graduate, broke out playing Dr. Dre in the 2015 NWA biopic "Straight Outta Compton." His early film roles also included "Kong: Skull Island," "BlacKkKlansman," and "Georgetown."
More recently, Hawkins played the villain Polybus, right-hand man to Robert Pattinson's Antinous, in Christopher Nolan's "The Odyssey." He also appeared in the Amazon MGM film "Crime 101" with Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, and Barry Keoghan. Other recent credits listed by Variety are "The Man in My Basement," "The Piano Lesson," "The Tragedy of Macbeth," and "The Color Purple."
On television, his credits include "The Walking Dead," "Poker Face," and leading the cast of Fox's "24: Legacy." He received a Tony nomination in 2023 for his leading role in the Broadway revival of "Topdog/Underdog."
Hawkins' upcoming project is the thriller "Nightwatching," based on Tracy Sierra's novel and co-starring Mila Kunis.
