Cyberpunk Edgerunners Season 2 trailer drops with October release date
A new trailer for Cyberpunk Edgerunners Season 2 has officially arrived, confirming its streaming debut on Netflix. According to Collider, the second season is scheduled to hit the platform on Tuesday, October 20.
The anime series, set in the world of Cyberpunk 2077, will return with a brand new story unconnected to the game's plot or the events of the show's first season. Season 2 will remain set in Night City, though cameos from past seasons or the game have not been ruled out.
Collider notes that while a sequel to Cyberpunk 2077 is in development with over 100 people working on it, the next game does not yet have a release window. The studio's primary focus is currently on The Witcher 4, which is targeting a 2028 launch.
A film adaptation of Cyberpunk is also reportedly in development at Paramount, though the outlet states it's too early to predict a release date for that project.
