Dan Fogelman's NFL Drama The Land Gets Post-Super Bowl Hulu Debut
Dan Fogelman's new Hulu series, "The Land," will premiere on Monday, February 15. According to Variety, this launch comes just after the big game wraps up, with the first two episodes hitting the streamer at 9 p.m. PT that night. After the double-header debut, new episodes will roll out weekly.
The show is a family drama set within the world of professional football. Per its official synopsis, it follows a Cleveland Browns head coach portrayed by Christopher Meloni who is clinging to his job. His last hope is a rookie quarterback from Ohio State who is also his son.
Meanwhile, a team owner played by William H. Macy is figuring out which of his two daughters should inherit the franchise. The series promises drama both on the field and in the front office.
The cast also includes Mandy Moore, Bridget Moynahan, Chace Crawford, Chloe Bennet, Omar Epps, Sam Corlett, and Tanner Zagarino. Fogelman, the creator of "This Is Us," is the showrunner and an executive producer. The series is a production from 20th Television and Skydance Sports.
