Deep Space Nine sequel novel 'The Peacemakers' launches this November

ScreenRant reports that the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine universe is officially expanding this fall. A new novel titled 'The Peacemakers' is scheduled for release on November 17, 2026.
The book, written by veteran Star Trek author Una McCormack, is set five years after the finale of the Dominion War. Per ScreenRant, the story shifts focus from Captain Benjamin Sisko to his son, Jake.
The plot follows Jake Sisko, now a writer, as he travels to Cardassia Prime for an arts festival. His journey takes a dark turn when he joins an archaeological expedition and members of the group start turning up dead.
The novel will be published by Pocket Books/Star Trek. It will be available in a standard paperback format, a digital ebook edition, and a full-length audio version. Pre-orders are currently open.
