Deon Taylor to direct 'The Professor' streetball biopic for Hidden Empire Sports
The high-flying story of streetball legend Grayson 'The Professor' Boucher is heading to the big screen.
According to an exclusive report from Variety, Deon Taylor will direct a biopic about the famed basketball entertainer. Taylor, known for thrillers like "Traffik" and "Black and Blue," will also produce the feature.
The project is being developed by Hidden Empire Film Group's sports division, Hidden Empire Sports Collective. The director's production partner, Roxanne Avent, is also set to produce.
