Directors of 'The Truffle Hunters' chase the perfect wine in new documentary 'Burgundy'

Michael Dweck and Gregory Kershaw, the filmmakers behind the documentary 'The Truffle Hunters', have turned their lens to the world of fine wine. Their new film is titled 'Burgundy'.

According to Variety, the documentary follows a range of characters in the wine industry, from winemakers to sommeliers. One subject is a wine critic named Guillaume.

The outlet reports that Guillaume tastes over 100 wines in a single day. For him, the experience of wine is described as having a spiritual component.

Dweck and Kershaw's own quest is framed as a search for the perfect glass. The directors told Variety that 'a great glass of wine changes how you perceive the world'.
