Disney greenlights new Descendants movie Hidden Heroes, reveals cast

The children of fairy-tale sidekicks are stepping into the spotlight. Per TVLine, Disney+ and Disney Channel have officially given the green light to "Hidden Heroes: A Descendants Story."

The new movie will follow a fresh generation of characters, the kids of famous side characters from classic stories. The outlet also revealed the full cast list for the project.

It seems the magic of the Descendants franchise is far from over, with this next chapter now officially on its way.
