Don't Breathe 3 Officially Announced with Original Director and Stars
The blind man is coming back for more. Director Fede Álvarez has confirmed a third Don't Breathe film is officially in development.
Álvarez made the surprise announcement during a Q&A at a 10th anniversary screening of the original film at Beyond Fest in Santa Monica, per TheWrap. He told the crowd a screenplay exists and that stars Stephen Lang and Jane Levy will return.
Álvarez directed the 2016 breakout hit but handed the sequel to co-writer Rodo Sayagues. The director is now returning to helm the third installment, according to MovieWeb.
Lang plays the blind, deadly veteran who terrorizes intruders in his home. Levy played Rocky, a burglar desperate for money to escape her life. The first film left her fate open, as her character escaped but the Blind Man survived without reporting her.
