Dragon Age creator says series is dead after Veilguard flop

The father of Dragon Age has delivered a grim prognosis for the fantasy franchise. According to Eurogamer, original writer David Gaider believes BioWare's beloved RPG series is likely dead following the poor commercial performance of last year's 'Dragon Age: The Veilguard'.

Gaider, who is no longer at the studio, said he'd be interested in a return if fate ever twisted that way. He'd take a new game in a 'dark and dangerous' direction if given the chance.
