Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO's new roadmap brings cross-play and more DLC

Bandai Namco has laid out a long-term plan for Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO, celebrating the game's second anniversary.
According to a report from Nintendo Life, the publisher says the fight is "far from over," with additional fighters, game modes, and free updates scheduled through the end of 2026 and into 2027.
A new Tower of Power mode is in the works, designed as a solo challenge where players face progressively tougher enemies to earn custom Ki Aura items. A team-based version is also planned for later.
Paid DLC titled Super Limit-Breaking NEO is targeting a Spring 2027 release for Switch and Switch 2. The biggest news is the planned introduction of cross-platform play, which is slated to begin a beta test for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC platforms following the summer of 2027.
