Édgar Ramírez and Nahuel Pérez Biscayart Set for Venice-Bound 'Land of the Savages'

Édgar Ramírez and Nahuel Pérez Biscayart are set to star in 'Land of the Savages,' a new project from Chilean director Fernando Guzzoni, according to a report from Variety.

The film, which is set in the year 1850, will be presented at the Venice Gap-Financing Market.

This marks Guzzoni's return to the Venice Film Festival, where his previous movie 'Blanquita' won the Silver Lion for best screenplay four years ago.

Per the trade, the project aims to eventually return to the festival's official red carpet for its premiere.
