Elliot Page says he's 'not really' getting casting calls after 'The Odyssey'
Elliot Page says finding a new role has been tough since starring in last summer's 'The Odyssey'. Per Variety, the actor revealed on the 'On Film… With Kevin McCarthy' podcast that the phone isn't exactly ringing off the hook.
Page said he's 'not really' receiving casting calls post-'Odyssey', despite feeling more comfortable on screen than ever. He expressed a clear desire to keep working, telling the podcast, 'If someone wants to call me…I'd love to do good work.'
Variety's summary notes that Page hasn't been able to land another great role since the film hit theaters in July. The actor didn't specify the types of roles he's seeking or mention any upcoming projects.
For now, it seems Page is waiting for the right opportunity to come along, hoping producers and directors will reach out.
