Filming wraps on George A Romero's final zombie movie Twilight of the Dead

Principal photography has officially concluded on Twilight of the Dead, the final zombie story conceived by horror master George A. Romero. JoBlo reports that the film is now in the can.

Kate Beckinsale and Betty Gabriel are leading the cast of this long-awaited project. The movie represents the culmination of Romero's iconic series that began with Night of the Living Dead.

While plot details remain under wraps, the film is expected to deliver the social commentary and gruesome thrills the director's work is famous for. It marks a posthumous return to the universe he created.

With filming complete, the project now moves into post-production. No release date has been announced for Twilight of the Dead.
